After my next dig into the truck and If I can't find a specific spot then I'll try the Centramatic.

I've had this same problem with my 2015 and posted the problem on the Forum (Driveline Vibration) back in that year. You've had more luck with the dealers than I have. The Chrysler service rep ended it with "operates as designed". Wish the salesman told me that before I wrote the check. I think you are on to it with being in the rear end. I haven't had the time to pull the axle shafts and check them. Did they ever do that for you? Did anyone mention the vibration dampener mounted on the side of the pinion area? Never had a truck with one of these and I don't see them on other makes. To me it indicates they have an issue in there. Once I get freed up I'm either going to change the entire rear axle with something from '03-05 or trade it. I too, travel at that special spot of 70mph. Recently replaced all 4 tires and it's even worse.

Ford 8.8 Axles had that damper to for many years. And no there isn't an issue, these dampers are there to get rid even of the slightest harmonics.
They are NOT to correct something as bad as you describe it.
Axle Shafts? I dont think so, to slow, to close to the axis, to light compared to the wheel assembly.

I finally got this thing to simmer down without any help from FCA. My dealers resolution? " its fine" FCA's resolution? start this scavenger hunt and sending me to a litany of dealers, pity too because Carson City Dodge back in the day was where one went when others when all else failed. Not anymore.

These people don't have a clue about S@#$. For example, if you try and show the writers things like normal maint intervals? they just make up their own rules without a second thought. No time on oil changes? 15K? I showed them the owners manual and I'm told the maint intervals are only "Guide Lines". I can't work with people like this.

CJC in california got rid of my vibes, these guys are literally kids working there but got serious game when it comes to Rams. The only problem was as usual, I bought a ton of **** while fixing the vibes, leveling kit, shocks, steering stabilizer, custom sway bar tires and wheels. Now this thing is dialed in $7K later. kind of glad I didn't dump the truck after all!!!!!

If you ask me? its the tying the of two front frame horns together together with the synergy steering brace that's the vibration fix, just saying......

Do the 2019s still have vibration issues?
I’ve seen where where ford has installed vibration dampeners on all four corners of their super duty’s to deal with this.

I’ll tell you what, this is my third dodge 99,2005, and now a 2018. What you go through to get the motor has me wondering if it’s even worth it, the rest of the truck is middle of the road for sure. When you think about it? , the only things on the truck that are Chrysler are the transmission, body, and chassis. GM axels (AAM), borg Warner T Case I believe is a subsidy of GM as well.

So if your considering a 2019 with the new motor? I would be so fast without looking at ford or GM.

My neighbors 2019 F-350 is freaking nice, but has developed the death wobble after installing a lift, wheels and tires. I’d look at the GM offerings.....
