So Glen, you and Chris were heading into Wal-Mart eh?betcha you were goin in to get some of da fried cheekin... Tell Chris to call me,big truck show there in petersburg in june, gonna head down. . Oh,I have a large TDR dacal for you also. .

Saw a nice, clean 2nd Gen, Charcaol grey over silver, in Warrenton. You were with me from Rt. 600 to Warrenton. I was the Green 3rd Gen. Didn't get a chance to talk. First time I have seen a TDR member in the area.

Hi Jengle, as they say "That was me" in the Charcoal/Silver 2500. I live in Warrenton, do you? I did spot your truck, very nice. The dual tips stand out pretty good.

Sorry I didn't talk, it was the end of a long day, I was 'jes trying to get home.

Got the truck in Oct. '04, a 2002 HO with 98K. Now that the front end and tires are squared away, it drives pretty good. No plans for any heavy bombing, I save that for my BMW M3, used for driver's schools, autocross, and other track events.

SPOTTED: Black 3500 DRW "Shovelhead" Was good meeting you at the Radio Shack on Rt 50 in Falls Church. Had fun 'til the thunder bumpers started rolling in. Hope we can get together again so I can learn more about these CTD's. You got my card and feel free to contact me at home 571-238-8056. Maybe the wife won't be bothering me with phone calls :)

BTW You get the materials and I'd be happy to trade time and experiance to help install that transfer switch for your generator.

There I was driving home from Home Depot, minding my own business when all of a sudden I get the feeling I'm being followed... ... :(

Check my "6", and there's a large chrome grille behind me... ..... :-laf

Great finally meeting a fellow Northern Virginia member on the road.

Nice looking 3rd Genner 2500.

I got some ideas for future mods for the Beast from checking out yours too.

As for the Side-Work thing,... ... I'm sure we can work something out. ;)

As for the rest of the NoVa Diesel-sniffers,... . Come-on... . I KNOW there's GOTTA be more Cummins powered Dodges in the area, where are you guys hiding?

Spotted a nice third generation with a TDR sticker sitting in a driveway off Hay Rd. in Loudon today. Silver QC 4X4 SB, looked good. It's the first truck I've seen around here with a TDR sticker. I know there are more out there.

Hey all you NoVa CTD owners (and others too)! Who's up for a meet and greet? :D I'm willing to host it here in Arlington at my house. We can use the driveway, street, lawn, whatever it takes. Bring your mods, special tools, whatever (oh and BWOB) Am willing to make the Wife slave over the grill for the cooking. Bring the Wife and kids too if you want. I'm thinking around Sep 10th. Burgers, Dogs, Slaw... Other goodies as the Wife feels fit (she had a small catering business). All are welcome, BUT... No speeding up and down the street :-laf

Hey testraub, post this in the local events forum and you might get more responses. I would come up to Arl. for this, if I am at home.

Well, I just got my rig (see sig for details).

I ain't seen too many TDR stickers around, but then again, I ain't really been looking either. Now, I got my stickers, and they'll be going on as soon as I get plates for it.

DMV TAKES TO DANG LONG TO TRANSFER TITLES BETWEEN BANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really sucks having the truck in the driveway, and I can't even go fill 'er up with fuel (not legally anyways).

Spotted a nice black 2nd genner 3500 with a single 6" mitered stack heading south on Reston avenue/parkway today about 2:00 pm, you were just going over the Dulles Airport toll road. Me in my old girl (89 D250 LE with 4" stack) turning left heading towards the airport.

Bring the wife and kids if you want. Plenty of street space for work and one driveway for those who need to jack up the Truck (3. 5 Ton jack and 2 stands here, bring your own if you need more. ) Some Air available (2. 5 Gallons onboard and 25' Hose)Nearest diesal fuel 2. 5 miles away (so don't come empty unless your doing a tank vent mod) :)

Plenty of food and grill space if you want something special. BYOB. No racing up and down the street is requested. The occasional soot display is acceptable. :)

Please let me know if you need more info. we are about 1 mile from exit 69 on I-66 inside the DC beltway (I-495).

Sorry I forgot to take the directions to the fall picnic at Kauffmans. I told myself 3 time to remember them but excitement of going and old age (44) happen.

Please let me know if you cummins so we can get you parked :)

If your a PSD or Durakitty You find your own parking :-laf Oo.

Hey tug remember the grey 2500 you saw across from the Verizon building in Dinwiddie??? Well I sold it and bought a VW TDI for my one hour commute. I had Cummins withdrawl and you can now look for me in my 93 250 will the trail of smoke behind me :) The 1st gens have so much more character ;)

I have passed your shop several times since I saw you that day. I hadn't seen the truck and was wondering if you got transferred. Tell me more about the 93! Why aren't you posting on the 1st Gen Forum? We're much more... . ummm, (I can't think of a nice word for insane) over there!

Well I took a promotion and now I'm an Engineer and travel all the way to Richmond! The extra money more then makes up for the extra fuel ;). I picked up the 93 last week and it is great. DTT trans, 89% TC blah blah blah, tweaked pump, 4x4 and the such. I've got some pics up on "the other site". I ended up dumping 8 quarts of transmission fluid out of the truck tonight. The hose that goes to the aux trans cooler slipped off and BLAMMMOO ... truck wouldn't shift. I fixed it and I think I caught it fast enough to prevent any damage. I didn't see the trans temp go up on the gauge. We will see! Let me know next time you are heading my way and we can do lunch or something!
