46Mech,

Sent you a PM... I think we may work on the same side of town and in the same industry, as it were.

Don't know if I can make it to NC for dyno event... have to run that past my bride first!

Another TDR member in Central VA

If you're even in the Charlottesville area you might spot my white ram running around. TDR sticker on the back window and the TDR badge on the drill!

another one in central Va!

rmrc,

I'm up here in Culpeper about 40 miles north of you.

I drive the '89 mostly, and the '02 every now and then to save the mileage on it. Maybe we'll see each other somewhere!

Just a reminder,,,,

Hey fellas,

There should also be a group of us going up to the Big Rig Nationals at MIR in Buds Creek MD on Saturday the 25th. There is more info on that HERE

We are also hoping for a real good turnout at the dyno and dragrace session that 46mech mentioned. This event should be real interesting with some multi-brand folks saying they have some real high powered GM and Ford trucks coming. There is also suppose to be some various fueling boxes available for folks to try out too. More info on that here.

Hope to meet up with some of you folks in the future. :D

MacGreenie,

I know this is months old, but I don't have your pm in my box. You're the guy who talked with me going down the 64? There's another guy over at HC-8, but I haven't met up with him yet.

Covington, VA,,,, right on the line

If yall are ever in on I64 towards West Va,,,,, Look for a 97 2500 Club Cab In Driftwood,,,,,,,, Just check the Passenger Rear Quarter Window (I put on on the passenger side so the PowerJokes could see as I go by in the passing lane) or on the back glass and you'll proudly see the TDR colors Flying

46 Mech,

Yes... . that was me on the 64 heading home back before XMAS.

Recognized the license plate on your rig. You are the first TDR member I have spotted since I joined last year.

Busy re-vamping my gauges so now I am running stock (with a mechanical FP gauge under the hood to keep tabs on fuel pressure... a definite "Pre-flight" item!). Having nothing to watch while I drive seems strange.

Just how long will you fella's be in the 46 business? That airframe is getting a bit on the old side. Will the V-22 solve all the problems or just create more?

MacGreenie

Mac...

For the Reserve Squadrons (that's us) we can plan on using them until 2017. Nobody I know is looking forward to the Osprey; just like the old-time 46 Navy guys don't like the H-60. It will change our way of life, that's for sure.

Spotted a Blue quad cab with a TDR grill badge yesterday (Saturday) going into the Boy Scouts Of America building on Heatherwood Drive in Virginia Beach.

No idea who it was... saw the badge on the grill right away.

Wife wouldn't let me go back to investigate/say "Hi"/jawjack.

Who was it?

MacGreenie

Spotted yesterday(Friday March 19th) in Fair Lakes Shopping center in Fair Lakes, Virginia. Green (I think) 3500 2nd gen with lots of stuff on it... most noteable was the amount of air horns... I think four on the roof and three more giant ones that I would assume are train horns on a toolbox in the bed.

I think I have seen this member post here before...

I wouldn't have been recognized because I was cruzin' in the wife's town & country...

New member here. Where can I get some TDR badges/stickers what not!?!?!? I want to be seen too!

Not too far from ya Disputana. I'm off 460W in the town of Church Road!

Chris

Saw a red/grey 1st gen parked in the lot of the bank of america building, in Orange, VA.

I had stopped by the new courthouse that's being built. When i went to leave, the truck was there. Parked just one spot up from me.

It was 2wd srw, red/grey 1st gen. Single chrome stack, lots of cummins decals/badges... as well as a TDR sticker on the back window.

Anyone know this member?

Chris

That was me!!!

Chris,

I was going into Bank of America to get a cashiers check to pay off my 2002 quad cab:D There is no Bank of America in Culpeper.

I saw you chatting with someone else when I pulled into the parking lot. You had a dark colored Quad cab with some transmission shop sticker on your rear window. Did yours have a chrome exhaust tip? I've been running the 4" stack now for about a month. It sounds so SHWEET!!:D

Maybe we'll meet again somewhere down the road.

Have a good day!

Phil

Newport News Tdr Members?

Finally got around to reading something other than "the usual forums". Any TDR members in the Newport News part of Virginia? Like alot of you, I look at each CTD I see on the road for a TDR logo... . haven't seen one yet. I see some of you hail from the Va. Beach area & Richmond... . bound to see you eventually. I've got a blue 2wd 2500 QC with matching cap & TDR logo on the back window.

I'll keep my eyes open :D

I'm in norfolk and have stickers on my chevy but it's on jack stands so unless you drive by my buddy's house you'd never see it
