Guess I am a little late on this one. Live in Currituck county, NC. Work in Frederick, MD. I try and get home every other weekend to take care of the honey-do list and drive the CTD a little. Sometimes I bring it back up here to MD with me so I can get some real wheel time. Would love to get with you guys sometime and shoot the breeze about trucks and I any one has gauges would love to see what they look like installed and get some advice on installing. Later.

Hope your house/land is ok with the storm that rolled in Heavy Duty. Let us know a date and we can all meet up :) Maybe we can beg for Grave Digger and his friends to romp around the field for us. That is always a blast!

Manganos,

Not a bad idea. Grave Digger lives right up the road from me. Great guy when you get to know him. I'll check and see if I can get him to do a little tour for us. Also, we may convence him to try a CTD in his truck. The house and such did fine with this one. We were not that lucky last year though, lost all of the tin from the run-in sheds for the horses, several trees down. But no damage to the house. I'll let you guys know about getting togather with Grave Digger. Later.

Manganos---thanks for the reply--as soon as i get my guages I give you a shout. You don't live far from me.

dzldpatriot--I would be happy to take you fishing. I usually put out at Wallaces. Right now the fishing is slow with all the rain we have had but it should pick up at any time if we have some dry weather. Maybe we can get Manganos to come down and we can make a day of it. I live by Colonial Downs (Horse race track) but I'm from Hampton (Kecoughtan High School). Any way lets stay in touch. :)

David.

DJOliver, would love to go fishing sometime. I'm in & out of town until the middle of this month. Working off a relatives computer as mine is "infected" Either way, I'll keep you posted and hope a bunch of us can get together. Just went up through New kent this morning on my way to central Pennsylvania. Talk with you soon.

Speaking of Newport News VA. I'm fairly new to the area and need to find a good drivetrain shop. Found an align shim in my rear diff oil.

MNorgren,

Welcome to the area! Sorry I can't help you out... I haven't run into that. . yet. I may as I need to change my rear diff fluid. However, Rammin On (Forest City Diesel @ 573-265-5595) may be able to help you out. He lived in this area for a few years and is up to speed with good shops in the area. Give him a try.

Anyone from the area heading up next month for the Fall Brawl? I'll probably head up on Firday night after work. I'm thinking 4-5 hours(?)

MNorgren... let me know how you make out with finding a shop.

Spotted this 3rd Gen across from the Verizon office in Dinwiddie, Virginia. Friday, 24 Sep 04, approx. 1645. I'm behind the other trucks.

HEY! I got your note. That would be my truck parked at work! What were you doing here in Dinwiddie so far from home? I noticed a couple of 1st gens running around Dinwiddie yesterday too. Maybe I saw you too! Too bad I wasn't around or we could have chatted. Thanks for the note. I've showed it to everyone twice already. If you are ever nearby again please let me know so we can chat. Talk to you later. Chris Mangano

MNorgren,

And anyone else on the Peninsula, I retired out of the Navy and lived in Hampton for 14 years. If you need a good transmission shop, go to Bert's on Jefferson Ave. He is top notch. I doubt if he remembers me, so a referral may not do much. His crew can handle anything that comes in.

Thanks for the Info

Sorry to get back so late, been out of town on business.

Thanks for the information in regards to repair shops. Nothing like loosing your connections!

28 Mar 05

This afternoon, Wash D. C. I-395 south near Maine Avenue.

Green 2500 2nd genner 4X4 w/ M-D TDR emblem. in back window.

I was the Black Dually.

I saw a black longbed ext cab on I-95 this past thursday (3-24-05). We were just south of DC, and they were following me in the traffic jam. Had a scoop on the hood and a TDR sticker on the back window. I was in a white and grey truck w/ PA tags.

Red Ram 2500 spotted at Exit 150A of I-81

Spotted a Red Ram 2500 at Exit 150A heading south on alternate Rt. 220 at the stoplight crossing Rt. 11. Time was 5:30pm on 4/20/2005. Had his TDR sticker on the back window and his license number was YKE-6357, VA plates. I wanted to say hello, but I was in my wife's hybrid Civic instead of my Ram! I probably couldn't have gotten his attention. And if I had, he'd have probably thought I was an idiot instead of a TDR member. I need to put a sticker on the hybrid. That will give folks something to figure out!

Someone needs to put a post out saying they seen you Shovelhead as we all thought you were M. I. A. on us. Glad to see your still around and hope you stop by sometime and see us all again... ..... Andy

Shovelhead,

We haven't met, but last week, I ran into that 3rd Gen Green dually at Anacostia Annex, next to Bolling AFB. It was Spike, and he said that you worked next door at Bolling. His caught my eye, as its the same green, and has the TDR sticker in the same spot as mine.

Red 12v 2500

Saw a nice  red 12v 2500qc at the Wal-Mart in Williamsburg today, mid afternoon. I was parked a couple rows over. Me & Gorilla walked over, but nobody home :( It had Va plates... I'm just down the road in Newport News, Gorilla is in Williamsburg. Sorry we didn't catch up with you.
