Started having problems starting after changing fuel filter around 250,000 miles... Changed lift pump... . Didn't make any difference... Would have to tow it to get it going... Then it started cutting out at high rpm (275,000 Miles) as if the fuel filter was plugged..... Then finally it would start OK in morning, but not after it was warmed up..... Fiound that if we poured cold water on pump, it would start... ... ... !!!!!!!! I posted a thread on here in march/02 ... ... .....

. . trying to find the problem (300,000 Miles)..... I even had it to cummins in Toronto Ontario and they thought it may be the VP-44, but couldn't say it would fix it... ... I finally got a new VP-44 and put it on... ... ... It works great. . !!!!!!!!! (357,000 Miles) (575,000 KM)..... Truck is not bombed... ... ... .
