Matt, I fashioned a three sided protective box from heating duct metal that slips between the frame rail and the pump bracket with a little encouragement but is easily removed if necessary.Diesel Gopher said:I would like to run one of these, but have a question about underbody spray, mostly snow/slush. I plow with my truck, and am unsure of how a relocated pump might hold up. Often when plowing, snow and ice build up around the brakes, t-case, and transmission bottom, where the warm parts melt snow that sticks on when driving through deep snow. I also travel gravel roads about 25% of the time I drive in the summer, and worry about rocks kicking up. I know these kits haven't been out long, but if anyone has any insight as to durability/longevity under these conditions, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Matt

Also over already installed fittings, aren't we suppose to put hose clamps, or this type of blue hose is special, so does not require any? Thanks.
