Eric - you are funny! :-laf

No, actually no progress at all on the truck other than parts collecting. Summer is a busy time for me so I don't tend to get much done on projects like this. I don't see much happening on that till Octoberish as too much to be done on house, yard, etc before. And add in a 5600 conversion of the 1990 somewhere in there... .

But things like SBC hydraulics kits, turbos, interior parts, etc are arriving weekly! Should prove to be interesting one it comes time for the final run at assembly!

... now you're starting to sound like me!! :-laf The Man in the Brown Toy Van (UPS) just left... . I think I like him better than St. Nick... . he brought me some headlights and a dash cover for a '97, a carpet for a '96, a turbo for a '93, some rifle barrels, and a partridge in a pear tree (jking:D). And I don't have to wait for Christmas for him to show up!!

Now that's funny!

Nigel

Smart butt! :-laf

I am crying I am laughing so hard! :D

Yes, I have not forgotten. Believe me. I have a giant 4 ton boat anchor sitting in my garage. I remember it! Cant wait to see my garage again when I get this freakin land yaght on the road!

Yes, this thread will get an update in the next month or so. When the snow flies, so do the wrenches. :)

But I did get some more parts... should share those pics at somepoint... .

OK. I will bite. Her eis a few pics... . needed some nice door glass and spare parts. Found this in northern Ontario in a yard.

And how I left it:

Cab was very rotted in floors and roof was crushed. Sadly not much scoffable.

And on a side note just for giggles, see all that green stuff? The plants?

Yeah. Somewhere there is poison oak. Dont ask how I know. ;)

That's what you get for not rescuing the whole thing!!! Either put 'er out of her misery or save her life!!!! ... ... and you, just letting the '85 linger on in the rear recesses of a shop, barely clinging to the hope she'll be driven again... . some day... ...

:D

See what happens when you get an itch to build the ultimate first gen? :D

;)

Truth is I did ask the yard owner if he would let it go. He wouldn't. Will see how long till I can change his mind. :D

Nice! I like it!

And you are right. It would be a high comp rb build. Good enough to stuff in the mower for the summer! Nice 12. 5-1 should do it! :)

Now see what you did!? Got me thinking about another project that may prevent this thread from actually getting useful info! :-laf

PuhLease!!!! It's not my fault great minds think alike, :D... . although I was thinking the 440 would be better off in a dune buggy or ATV, myself. We don't get much snow down here... ... garden tiller, maybe?
