I have had a new fuel plate, boost elbow, waste gate, AFE cold air intake, 4 inch turbo back and gauges put in. I had a well known diesel performance shop install my fuel plate, boost elbow and fuel overflow. They timed the pump and did an overhead job. It doesn't hardly smoke and the power just isn't what i thought it should be with the mods I have done. Boost pressure is as good as any stock turbo iv delt with. Does anyone have an idea on which direction I should go from here??????

98 12valve club cab LWB 4x4 auto trans. AFE cold air, 4 inch turbo back, #10fuel plate, boost elbow, overflow, full spectrum of gauges.

need to get the boost to 32 lbs and move the afc all the way forward with a no. 8 plate set just slightly forward , that will get you about 240 - 260 rear wheel with no problems on the egt. 215 injectors with this will get you 340 and probably end your transmission before you learn to keep your foot out of it . this will also set it on fire on the egt . good luck , keep it humming.

Who makes the best injectors?????? I have a snow water/meth system and ATS converter & stage 5 transmission ready to be put in. When I buy injectors do I also need to buy nossles? If so which ones?

Two of the more popular injectors are industrial injection, Industrial Injection Service, Inc. - Salt Lake City, UT and DDP, Dynomite Diesel Performance, Dynomite Diesel Performance: Reliable Diesel Performance Products and Injectors for your Cummins, Duramax or Powerstroke - Monroe, WA Some companies will sell nozzles. The nozzles are installed on the injectors. So, if you buy a performance injector, it will have performance nozzles installed.

Do you want to keep the stock turbo? You could do:

1. injectors

2. turbo

3. 3 Pc exhaust manifold

4. head studs w/o-ringed head

4. ported head

5. camshaft

'Tis a slippery slope and power is additive. I have not done twin turbos (yet) or a performance built injection pump.
