Our our 24v engine control modules able to store a code somehow that a box like the edge has been installed. What I mean is, if I put one in and run with it for a while, then some unrelated warranty issue comes up requiring it to go to the dealer, would they be able to know that I had a box on it by scanning the computer even if I had taken it off before bringing it in?

The answer is yes and no, if you installe a EZ and then took it off for warentee work the stealer would not be able to see thru their computer that you had it hooked up UNLESS you left the boost elbo on and while taking the truck to the stealer you hot rodded it a bit than you would show overboost... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..... so the answer is to

1) opt not to installe the boost elbo. because the stealer can visibly see that you have tampered with it.

2) installe the boost elbo and take your chances at the stealer although you removed the EZ
