I have a 98. 5 quadcab and I have a waterleak problem that I think might come from my floor heater vents. At first I could not find where the water comes from, but the other day I noticed about a cup of water splashing out of the floor vent onto the carpet on the driver's side, also it comes out the passenger side when I turn the truck hard the other way. Any ideas on how to fix this?

water as in coolant? it sounds to me like your heater core is going bad. they often times leak when they are worn out. if this is the case, the heater core will have to be replaced.

If the water is clear then your problem is a plugged drain. check under the A/C housing under the hood for a turn down rubber drain tube a few inches long. Pull it out and clean it and as much of the debris as possible out of the housing.

Happened to me. I thought it was AC line too but it turned out to be the heater core. Getting it replaced will require removing the dash.
