I'm leaving on Saturday for Reno and then down to Vegas for the Mopar Show. I'm trying to plan my route right now and am wondering if we have members living on the two routes I have planned?

First option: Cut across on I90/94 West, through Montana, Idaho and drop down to Nevada.

Second option: Head south on I29 till I hit I80 and head straight west to Reno.

Any heads up on the weather appreciated.

Thanks

Not on your route, but don't know if you're aware of the info you can get on weather.com, if you go to

www.weather.com

then click on Driving, (it's in a blue bar across the top of the homepage) then it will take you to the driving page and about half way down is Driving features, click on interstate forcast it will take you to the page you can enter the highways you're asking about and it will give you weather forecasts for the area.

Good Luck,

Caleb

Featherman,

If you're leaving Canada, and heading south, won't ANY weather be an improvement?? :D

Think about this route:

I90/94 to Bozeman MT

US191 & US20 to Idaho Falls ID

I86/84 to Twin Falls ID

US93 to Wells NV

I80 to Reno NV

It's more direct and fairly flat.

I think when I got to Idaho Falls, I'd just keep on truckin south to Salt Lake City and pick up I-80 there. It's a straight shot, and you don't have to deal with Twin Falls or take US93 which is a 2 lane. My . 02
