Where's a good place to mount my Prodigy in my 3rd Gen?

truck route or not?

Jayco did not buy Travel Supreme, they bought the property. They will be building Entegra in the old Travel Supreme plant.

Pilgrim is likely done, the yard is empty with just a couple units sitting there. No more frames or nothing out there and nobody there.

Fleetwood is still in business.

Thor is still going, but sold Thor West.

Alpha and National RV are done.

Monaco, Carriage, and several others have cut there workforce.

There is a website called RV Industry News that reports the news pretty well.

BPine, your friend that had WW frame issues reminds me of an ordeal I took part in back in '03.

I was sent to the Glamis Dunes of So-Cal to rescue a new WW bumper pull for warranty work to be performed back at the factory. I met the WW owner at Glamis who was not a happy camper. The tongue of his trailer was bent upward to nearly a 45° angle causing the body front to buckle forward and break away from the trailer sides! He swore that he didn't plow through a ditch doing 55 mph with this thing, but it sure looked like that's what happened. With my 8" drop reciever inverted to a 12" lift, I dragged this thing back to Perris watching the frame continue to droop more as I limped back. The owner at WW was none too happy about this thing either as he & others scratched their head. I think that they may have been using steel that was purchased via a "blind shipment". (a way to save money by using sub standard spec'd steel that has no way to trace its origin).

I'm sure this customer was regretting his purchase.

I picked up our Rage'n 25' Toy box for 26k out the door.

It is fully loaded with a slide out.

It's the front bath model.

Very Heavy trailer. 14. 500 lbs

I think you made a mistake on the weight. A WEW or any toybox does not weigh anywhere near 14,500#. I've pulled many of those from manufacturer to dealers. I'd guess they weigh 7-8k lbs. dry.

Jayco also purchased the equipment and plans and kept much of the production staff. Initial Entegras are essentially rebadged Travel Supremes although fewer models are offered and without some of the previous frills. Until a two weeks ago Glen Troyer, former owner and CEO of TS, continued on as president of Entegra. He resigned abruptly according to RV Industry News. He probably had a disagreement with Jayco management. It would be hard to step down from being owner and final decision maker for many years to being an employee of another company with different ideas and goals.

I stopped by there last month and talked with an Entegra regional sales rep. He confirmed that the new Entegras were essentially the same as TSs. I wanted to take a factory tour just out of curiosity but my timing was off and I didn't feel like hanging around for the next scheduled tour.

A new Entegra might be a very good choice for someone wanting an upscale, high-quality fiver at a price lower than previous Travel Supremes. Jayco has always built a "good" fifth wheel but not on the same level as a Travel Supreme, Teton, Newmar, Alfa, or NuWa's HitchHikers.
