Can't feel it, Can't see it on the Tach... But I can hear it.

It occurs in the morning, or after truck has sat for long time, like at work. Everything starts fine. Occurs between 1800 and 2000 rpm under light accerlaration.

Usually goes away after a couple of minutes and only returns after a long sitting. It will also only do it as I accelarate, not if I go over 2000rpm and coast back down. So far I have only noticed it with the OD off.

Also truck shows no ill signs and performance it where it was before this started.

35. 5K on odometer, 1500miles on Fuel, Full flow and by pass filters. Trans serviced 3000 miles ago. New lift pump about 5k ago and my idle psi is 13, WOT is 5 with TTPM on and about 8 with out.

Just started about 3 weeks ago. I have had 2 tanks of fuel from regular station and use Stanadyne Performance in every tank.

Its more of an anoyance to me because I know 3 weeks ago it didnt do this! Hopefully its nothing.

Any ideas?????

Thanks

Boydo, do u think I should replace it or do the re-calibration routine for it and see if that does the trick?

Boydo, what is this and how do you fix it? I have a similar problem, I think??? Truck develops a surge around 2,000 rpm Can't see it on the tach but you can definitely feel it. It's not a lift pump problem, had that replaced and guage shows 14-16 psi at idle. Only surges when around 2,000 rpm or boost is above 18psi. Any help is appreciated.
