Actually, Mike Crossley did the work, I just supervised. Every job needs a supervisor to blame you if something goes wrong. Didn't have to, Mike did a great gob!
Yes, he almost busted a gut on the "factory" filter. I had him try a new wrench that I bought. It is made by Vector and it is called Tru Grip. After half an hour of twisting it finally came loose. There was no risk of hitting the + lead on the alternator. He also took off the air box and pipe to the turbo to make more room. Good idea!
I also had him put in the finger touch oil drain valve. I hope it will make future changes easier.
Thanks to Mike, I will be Rammin' and Cummin' with clean oil.
