What Did You Do To Your 4th Generation Truck Today?

A guy on a FB group posted pics of his 4th gen with sugar or similar all around his filler and DEF. Apparently he ****** off the wrong person or has punk kids in the neighborhood. Truck ran fine on the way to the dealership and they don't suspect any damage, but dropping the tanks and cleaning can't be cheap. I'm sure he wishes he had a locking fuel door.

It wasn't meant to be a "do all, be all" solution. Like rashwor said, it keeps the honest people out. Kinda like the cab doors, if someone wants to get in they will and cause damage, but I lock those too.

Put a lock on the fuel filler door. I used a cabinet door lock. It catches the lip of the bed side sheet metal.View attachment 95580

My guess is I could just lift it up and out at the same time and the lock tab would clear the door frame and open. Or one just RAMs a screw driver in the lock and turns the whole lock.
