What else for preventive maintaince?

I am doing some preventive stuff to the truck and next is a new charge air cooler(intercooler). When i do it i'm gonna remove front bumper and basically have the whole front of the truck apart up to the front of the motor.



What other stuff should i do or would be east to do while apart?



Is a Fluidamper nessacery? Is there a dowel pin in the 02's? Any other suggestions would be helpful... . THANKS

while you have everything off clean radiator steam or pressure clean it do the same for the fornt the motor. check all of your bearings fan/hub water pump idle arm etc. if you can fix the kdp at least you know it is done. when you have the cover off you can repaint it if you need to clean fan blades. some people have wired up screen mesh behind grill after they have cleaned the intercooler and radiator to save on bugs in future. . good time to upgrade the intercooler boots usually on the driver side on lower boot rubs into the inner fender edge something to check.
