Hi Bob,
Well With 275RV Injectors,BD PNP/VA,Boost Elbow and PS Boost fooler, I get upto 34-35psi on a Long Hard Pull up a 7-8% Grade pulling my Trailer.
EGT's run close to 1250 degrees at 4500ft Elevation.
The truck has dynoed out at 282hp with this combo, But I want more!. #ad

Doug.

Well I'm not actually sure exactly how much boost I'm making b/c I can bury my Isspro 50lbs guage with my JVD on low so who knows what it's doin on high. When running on high it will heat up fairly quick on up to 1150 degrees then it seems to have enough fuel to keep it right there cools back down fairly quick. The only thing I do know is that when pullin season comes back around my HX35 will probly say bye bye and take a trip to the dump after I blow it. I'd say my next direction is runnin twins. After that MORE FUEL!!. It shouldnt be to hard to get considering my brother truck has a set of injectors in it that will pull 50lbs of boost with a slipping transmission. I cant wait to see what they do with the same TC & VB thats in my rig. Things can only get better for everyone. Good Luck!!

My buddy is running a VA, DD1's, and a DD boost module and elbow. It runs hard and pulls 32 PSI. Max EGT he has seen so far is 1080* BTW.

while we were talking to peirs this last weekend i asked this same question. he said anything over 34-35 psi and you start doing more harm than good with the stock turbo. the air gets so hot that your egt's go up.

Yeh,Piers is right. I would say 35-38 is the limit on a HX-35.

So far the highest that I have seen is 62psi wiyh my twin set up. It,s got more in it,but my clutch can,t hold all the power.

Put it in the horn or intake manifold to use it as a diagnostic gauge to detect leaks throughout the system. If you make boost at the waste gate and then it leaks out through a loose clamp, how will you know

I can only get 16lbs on my stock auto. But if I clamp the wastegate hose I can see 21lbs with no check engine Light. Why couldn't I get 20 with out the clamp? Could I have a wastegate the lets go with low lbs?

I pull about 37 lbs with a 1999 auto with 275's, TST pm-3 and 14 cm turbo with muffler eliminated. It might go higher if I really held it to the metal. Mark at TST says that he sees 45 or better, but with a smaller turbo.

Ok, this brings up a question... How much boost is to much? I mean, wouldn't the intake, gaskets etc. have a limit?

My 3500 with a Banks Stinger Plus and Psychotty will hit right about 40#. The after cooler is only rated for 50#,don't think it's wise to go much higher.
