I borrowed a timing set from a friend yesterday. Trying to get the truck back together. In the meatime, I am going to try to bump the timing on up since I am putting 370's back in. (when I read and figure out how to do it)

Anything I need from Cummins. I am going to go ahead and get a new lift pump and put it on. Already got the new fuel lines on.

I ran a search and someone posted that you would need delivery valve washers & O-rings. Do I need these and if so how many?

Appreciate any help,

JD

You won't need DV washers unless you're changing the valves. You might want to add a new overflow valve if you've never changed yours. As far as timing, a new nut and washer for the pump gear if you have to change the timing.

Bosch now has a steel washer that replaces the copper del. valve washer. The o-ring is good to have on hand cause Mr. Murphy might visit. It just takes a small nick to give a leak. Chances are, have the parts on hand and you will not need them.
