Yes... I searched first. My understanding is that the TIPM can be programmed to allow the fogs to stay on with the high beams. My local dealer will do it but I would like to have what ever step or sequence number needed to have the star scan tool set up my truck for this feature. Before anyone comments, this applies to only the '06 and later trucks that are controlled with the TIPM. I don't want to buy a Brite box nor can it be jumped in the fuse panel like the second gens were. I don't want to modify the HI-LOW beam switch. I have read here a while back that it can be done by reprogramming the TIPM. Bob 4X4? Sag2? Any tips?

I understand about the legality but I thought I read here that the Canadian market or European market allowed this. I also understood that this feature was available in the American market vehicles.

DRL lights are avialable and can be turned on with the delaer tools, that causes the fog lamps to come on any time the vehicle is running. Not sure you can get them to stay on with high beams as that is basically illegal in most places, at least for DOT approved vehicles anyway. It spossible with the right code in the PCM but withotu it being implemented there is no way a tool can do it.

DRL on the 05 uses the low beams not the fogs-long story but it got me pulled over in the wee hours in Baja

The Mexican cops saw you were easy prey in that Ram . They will pull you over for no front license plate too... .

I'm not sure of the procedure, but yes, the dealer can do it with the star scan tool.
