Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) What to use to clean injector hole seats?

What is everyone using to clean the injector holes? And will a little carbon in the cylinders hurt anything?

I had the same questions. A buddy of mine recommended a shotgun cleaning brush (i don't remember 10 or 12 gauge, i'm sure some one will chime in). And as far as the carbon goes, I wouldn't worry about it. It will burn out as soon as you start your truck.

Ive used Q tips to clean out injectors holes. Joe D recently gave me the idea to take a pushrod and smash the end of it so that a Q-tip fits snugly in the end, that way you dont loose the Q tip in the hole!
