Wow,alot of neat jobs. Nothing fancy with me,I'm just a plain 'ol parts guy for the biggest Honda dealer in the area. The place is so big we have 3 shifts for the service department: weekdays mon-thurs 7am-6pm,weeknights mon-thurs 7pm-6am,weekends fri-sun 8am-11pm. I work the weeknight shift.

On weekends,I've been an ongoing student in "Bar Bands 101". Bass player/songwriter,looking for my big break. I'd much rather be playing music for a living.

Forty five plus years in the petroleum industry, mostly pipelines, and related facilities; computerized scheduling and dispatching, telemetered supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA), truck, rail car and barge loading terminals, crude oil, refined product and LPG tank farms and processing systems, refineries, LPG plants, pump, metering and compressor stations.

Last 23 years working mostly on construction worldwide, Africa, Saudi, SE Asia, etc. Work for anybody and everybody, Bechtel, Fluor Daniel, Gulf Interstate Eng. , my own company in Thailand for 4 years. Am 66 and only bad health will retire me, really bad health.

Seems like there are quite a few of us in the oil business. What amazes me is that I know a little about everything you mentioned there. Next time they send ya to the swamps, look me up.

I install and maintain air pressure on the cables you folks all love to use for to comunicate with. Yes I am the guy who blocks traffic with all those orange cones.
 
I'm a Captain in the Air Force. I'm an instructor pilot in the T-37, which means I teach pedestrians how to fly, and how to fly in the military. Students start out in the T-37 (affectionately called the "Tweet"), and then move on to fly the T-38 if they are going to fly fighters, or the T-1, if they are going to fly heavies. I love it. Next year I'll be moving to the East coast to fly the C-5 Galaxy.

I am a buyer for a large wholesale candy/tobacco/grocery distributor. According to our (lazy) sales reps. , buyers make too much $$$ if they can drive a Cummins powered Ram.

I am a carpal tunnel crash dummy. I spend my day typing things over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Because my of day job, I always too type fast on the TDR and up screw the gram mer.

Really I am a cottage commuter working as a system's analyst / ISO9000 auditor / web master / Lotus Notes developer / airline seat tester and I moonlight as a Network Administrator for a small ISP in Northern Vermont.

I spent 8 years in Japan as a field engineer on semiconductor mfg equipment (MegaVolt Ion Implanters and Tungsten Chemical Vapor Deposition equipment). I miss turning wrenches, which is probably what got me to the Cummins experience. I spent 12 wonderful years doing Search and Rescue for the Coast Guard out of Boston. Only left because I had to. I've been an EMT before the paramedic thing got so popular. That job left me with some great stories that I can't print and the lust for making big vehicles go far too fast!

Try living where the mean income is 22k and see how much grief you get for driving a 35k pickup. (even in stealth mud covered mode)

Events Service Coordinator for a big software Co. I supervise the set up and dismantle of trade show booths all over the country. I make the stuff that the over paid candy a$$es glance at before they run to disney,Burbon St. , free booze hospality suite,or co-slacker's hotel rooms while on their all expence paid vacation er. . um I mean their trade show duties.
