The 6. 0 has 33,000 miles on it now. No new problems but still plagued with the original problem of no power below 1800 rpm. I'm reluctant to have it reflashed because of the horror stories I have read with reflashes causing more troubles than they fix. Mileage hovers about 17 mpg which is pretty good for a 10,000 lb utility body truck. It continues to be a nice cruiser but is lacking off road or low speed towing. To sum it up I guess I would have to say if I was buying a new Ford and was given a choice between the 6. 0 or a 7. 3 I would take the 7. 3 in a heartbeat.
