I ordered a couple of weeks ago and the Off Road Package (code AWL) was not listed at this time. What comes with it? What is the cost. The Dolen site lists a restriction until Aug 25th

Also, I did not see the light group on the order list either. Is it now included with the Laramie package?

Thanks Bryan

I will answer my own question. I called the customer service line and they provided the following answers.

The off road package includes:

4:10 rear end

Fog lamps

Anti-spin

Transfer case and Fuel tank shield

Lt 265/70/17E On/Off road tires

Off-Road Decal

He also said the light group is standard on the Laramie. I did not ask if it was standard on the SLT.

I now have an Aug. 8 ship date. He thought it should be at the dealers two weeks after ship date. I believe that is a little optimistic. I would think more like 4 weeks.

Good info!

I opted not to get the off road pkg as I rarely go off road.

I am glad to read that the light group is included in the Laramie pkg.

The one that I have to deal with when it gets here is the block heater. Its only a 10. 00 MSRP option but I never knew about it when I ordered as we never had any firm info for 04' trucks. No biggy, leaning otwards an ESPAR heater.

The BLACK Ram ships August 2 so we will see if its gonna be here in 2 wks like my dealer said as well.

Oo.

the offroad stuff or the light group? don't be too hopeful about the light group-- at the very least it will be expensive and at worst it may not be possible. Depends on what gets installed at the factory -- if the new lights require additional wiring (meaning the wires are not already there), then you're probably out of luck. also, the factory may not have kitted up the right parts for a post-factory install. I could be wrong, but I'd say this one is a no-go.

The offroad stuff should all be available via the parts department. Its all bolt on stuff I believe.
