for me personally it wasnt so much the fueling enhancements or any air enhancements that I am currently working on but my ex. brake... . I love this thing I dont know how well the other makers products are as I personally have never used one nor had a chance to meet anyone that had something different than mine. But by far the best money I have spent on this truck EVER. That is so far, but Im working on it stilll... . LOL

Not big things but

I love extra power but some of the nice mods are things like a high idler, grid heater by pass, power windows with out having to turn the key on, 2 lo kit and e brake that I miss alot. These are things I use/d every day, I don't use all the power every day so it is nice but not the most important bomb.

For me I would have to say my driving lights and the Bob V supershifter. I am with you Craig I like all the power mods but i do not use them most of the time. Another thing that i like are my 37/12. 5 because they changed they whole look of the truck.

Disconnecting the warning chime. Did it the second day my trucks came from the dealer. Electric windows without the key and the A/C on only when I wanted it to be were good also.

E-brake, gauges and power enhancements I deem more of a necessity than a modification.

Illflem, I second that!

I would have to list 2 bombs. One is the TST #6 plate and the other is my ATS TripleLok which puts 100% of that power to the pavement. I can't imagine going back to a stock transmission.

A/C disable

Here's the link to instructions on how to disable the A/C, on a 12 valve all it involves is removing a contact in the factory switch, on 24s you have to add a separate switch. Both are very easy.

Follow the link in this article back to the tdr thread where tdr member Dune Racer did an excellent job making it look like it came from the factory by adding a switch from a junkyard Toyota.

For me, the best mod has been the DTT trans. All the extra power does no good if it doesn't make it to the road.

JMO,

My BD exhaust brake.

The gauges are a necessity.

I like the power and the lights, but I only use them some of the time.

I use my E brake every time I drive my truck.

Power windows and chime disable

Could you guys explain or give a link to how to use the power windows without the key on and how to disable the door-open chime? These things really bug me.

I would like an exhaust brake also and may do it just for kicks!

I did it the way DodgeTorqueWagon describes in one sentence at the bottom of the first link.

Depending on which chimes you want disabled the instructions vary. If you want all disabled click this http://www.dodgeram.org/tech/mods/electric/door_buzz.htm

Gauges

I agree that gauges are a necessity, not an accessory, but they give me great comfort knowing that the motor is running healthy.

Wheel-to-wheel Step Bars

Usefull every time I'm near my truck.

Husky Floor Liners

It's amazing how dirty they get. I like a clean ride. They're easy to clean and it's nice to know all that dirt is not stinkin' up my carpet forever.
