I finally found and fixed my low boost problem.
I posted the problem here in the past and you guys came through again. Oo. I had a blown out inake manifold gasket with some bolts missing where the old fuel filter once lived.
Now that she's running real good while towing my trailer, I asked myself, What's next? :-laf I'm looking for a good and reliable power source for towing, not drag racing. I have the 80 HP EDM injectors, which pull real strong, the Comp box, so I can adjust the power level and turn if off completely, if needed. I have the AFE 2 air filter and 4 inch exhaust with the Hybrid 40 turbo and BD exhaust brake. I was thinking about Propane until the people here on the TDR advised me against it. It seems the 2001 HO engines are prone to head gaskets blowing if pushed with propane. All the manufactures of the propane units don't seem to have heard about that. I'm passing on the propane idea and looking at the Water Meth injection by Snow Performance. They have a towing application and I'm looking for feedback on it. Is there anything else out there for good towing pulling power? Thanks.
