Hey out there. Anyone know of a good resource for rear wheel spacers for the 3500's so the tires don't rub together. I want to put bigger (A/T or M/T) tires on. What's the process? What do you do to compensate for the shorter wheel studs once the spacers are on? Thanks for any help!

Drill,
What year is yours ? '01's can fit a 31X10X16 or a 255/85R16 without spacers. (see below) Of course a leveling kit from tuff country helps the front end.
The rears have not rubbed under load and are 6ply (BFG M/T's) Give the picture some time photopoint is horribly slow this time of night #ad

Drill, Tim has it right, just use wheels off a 2001. I haven't located a set yet for my 95, but they appear to be the best solution to bigger tires.

I've got a set of spacers my neighbor machinest made for my truck on the shelf in the shop. We made them a couple of years ago and I never followed up with the install due to concerns about shearing the necessary longer wheel studs. My original idea was to replace the stock studs with longer ones to allow for the spacers (didn't want to drill 8 more holes for a second set of shorter studs in the spacers, (that's the way big trucks do it) due to limited space on the spacers).

If you have a set made, be sure to mill the spacers for the locating step on the axle. Our wheels center on the axle and not the wheel studs.

Hey, want to thank you guys. You have been a tremendous help! And you're gonna end up saving me alot of time and effort! I'm just gonna level the front end and put on the 31x10x16's. Tim, the truck looks great. Ours are almost identical. Take a look at some Ventvisor headlamp covers. They don't cost much and really make the front end look awesome. Thanks again. Drill!
