I'm still looking for wheel-to-wheel nerf bars for my 2003 4x4 3500 QC LB. I would like the wheel-to-wheel style so I can better reach into the bed, even if only into the front part. So far I have found them for 03 QC SB but haven't seen any for the 03 QC LB.

At one store I was told that the 03 long bed frame doesn't have any holes that can be used to support the rear end of a wheel-to-wheel bar.

Call this # 1-800-752-6641 Tietjen's Lone Star Truck Equipment

they sell a Lonestar Running Board they call it. Wheel to wheel nerf bar with expanded metal welded on the top far a long step. They just bolt on to your cab mounts(they supply longer bolts for this)and the rear bolts on the eye of rear spring. Ask for Craig. They were under Express Products Inc. link but I have not been able to get that working latley. I had these on my 03 and took them off and put on the 04. Do a search on here and you should find the info on them. There is a link to somebody else on here that makes them too.

I found one link Southwest Fabricators

http://www.southwestfabricators.com/

these are like the ones I have on my 04 3500 SRW

Browns Welding in New Braunfels,Tx 1 800 625-8712 also makes a good looking set. I think these are welded on. The ones I got from Tietjen's just bolt on,no welding and they do protect the sides. Don't know about the ones from Southwest Fabricators whether they bolt on or welded but they look like the ones I got from Tietjen's. These type are very solid.

N-Fab Nerf Bars

Take a look at the N-Fabs. I know that they have the wheel-to-wheel with bed step. I like how they mount right up next to the rocker panel on the drip edge. Mine have deflected more than their share of rocks and seem quite solid. The drop step makes for easy in/out of the truck and the wife likes them. :p Check them out at;

4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers carries them but can be found cheaper. At least then you can make them price match. Some day I'll work on getting some pictures up.

I have Willmore brand on my short box, my brother has same brand on his longbox '03. We both are happy with them. They require no drilling. They are Polished Stainless Steel and have the extra step pad for the box.

To mount the Go Rhino bars you remove the Cab bolts, two on each side and attach brackets with longer bolts. There is also a bracket that goes a hole where the rubber plug or tape are under the door sill. Mount the bars and there you Go Rhino.
