I called Autozone to get prices on valve cover gaskets (mine are leaking). I was planning on adjusting valve lash at the same time. Autozone wants $15 for one, and 6 are required. Is there any place that is cheaper? What are my options?

do you have a local cummins dealer? they are resonable there. Or most of the vendors should be able to get them for you.

How do i find out if i have a local cummins dealer? do they have a website?

I just picked up 6 gaskets from Auto Zone for $3. 99 each. They are made by Fel-Pro. I hope they are the correct parts.

The gaskets I bought came with o-rings. I installed them tonight. Everything went well but I did not drive the truck after finishing the job. Hopefully, no leaks.

it is a felpro # it is for 1 o-ring and 1 grey (nitrile) gasket.

Thanks for the info, guys. Do the Felpro parts seem to be as good as Cummins parts? I am running synthetic oil, which seems to be finding new weak spots in my engine's gaskets every month. :-laf
