Not up front.
Remote filters are great. Don't put them up front behind the front bumper. Last summer I watched a fellow CTD owner parking his travel trailer. He pulled forward and just touched the front bumper on a large rock. As he started to back up, the oil came rushing out. He had ruptured one of his filters and did not even know it. I quickly told him to shut it down. No damage done but finding a replacement filter and amsoil was a problem. He might have been able to pull the adapter and use one of his filters in the stock location but the two filters on the remote were different from one another and the one he needed had the hole in it - go figure. Had he been alone in a remote area he would have been walking. Note to self - carry spare filters and make sure the location is protected.
