Hood River, Oregon http://www.hoodriver.org/ better know as the wind geek capital of the world. We have so many fruit's, nut's and tree huggers here I bet Kalifornia is empty.

off the highway and down gravel road

I live about 9 miles from Flatonia sort of in the sticks. Downwind of a hog farm and one right across the highway so you do get a aroma sometimes.

Just a Cistern Country Store there and V&V Sausage across from the store. Good ole Fayette county home of the famous Chicken Ranch(Best little ***** house in Texas) was till some fellow from Houston got it shut down years agol
