On my way back to Wyoming my Bug Shield had a close encounter of the flying kind and shattered the center section on the shield so I'm back in the market for a deflector...

My father is running the original Dodge reflector on his that covers the top part of his grill. The one I had, was one I just picked up locally at a parts store and it used three tabs that fit between the grill and the hood under the attaching bolts. Eyebrows are velcroed on the fenders.

What am I looking for? I don't think I want the stainless the smoked plastic ones will do... and I want to avoid covering up the front of the grill if possible. Any suggestions? GTS? Lund? Deflecta Shield? Dee Zee?... ... .

Pictures are welcome... . Thanks.....

Believe it or not... ... ... ... ... Mopar... ... ... it's the only one wind tunnel designed for our trucks... ... ..... mirrors won't do the "Curly shuffle"

This is only my opinion... ..... I could be wrong...

I 2nd that, Mopar is best. If your driving is anything like mine that nice looking top part of the grill with the Ram head won't look good long sticking out there exposed to flying objects. I only wish I had put mine on sooner before the grille top and leading hood edge was all chipped up.

I like the stainless three-piece unit personally. $100 from Cabelas, and no mirror shake or shield deflection at any speed (well up to 90 anyway:rolleyes: ). I've had three of these on various CTD trucks, and I've never needed to replace one. Just my humble $. 02 opinion.

I vote for the Mopar one. It has worked well for me. Bellow is a the best pic I have available or it. #ad
