hmmmm, mine locks up in third just before the 1/8 mile, and then in fourth just at the finish lights. I don't have a lock up switch, and drive it with both feet flat on the floor... .

02's will lock up at wfo in 3rd and 4th.

2000s and newer lock in 3rd and stay locked during the 3-4 shift. The 99 and older ones wont lock til 4th at about 75 mph.

Mine won't lock up until about 85-90mph under WOT without the lockup switch. Is it because of the way my VB is setup?

I don't think my l/u switch is working. I let the truck roll in a parking lot and flipped the switch and the truck didn't try to cut out or anything. Then I flipped the switch and various speeds and gears and the rpms always dropped when I let off of it. Is there anything else I can do to find out if its working or not?

If the lockup switch is working the transmission wont downshift and if you try to stop the truck it will try to kill it. You either have to unlock it or put it in neutral to prevent it from trying to kill the truck.
