narrowed down the choices to these two, but having trouble deciding between them. Yes, I am aware of VDO boost being limited to 30 PSi. Also, anything news about the 'improved' A pillar mount that was supposed to come out? Thanks!

I personally feel that the VDO Vision's are the closest match to the OEM gauges (complete with illuminated pointer). However, they don't offer a fuel pressure gauge (which is now becoming one of the most important gauges with our trucks) in this series.

I have a VDO Vision mechanical fuel pressure gauge that I haven't installed yet. I've lit it up on the bench and it seems to be comparable to the Isspro EV series of gauges. I have some concern that the flat-surfaced glass may show some reflection from daylight, but I haven't mounted it in the truck to confirm that. Outside of that, the appearance and lighting of the VDOs and EVs are quite similar. BTW, the VDOs are manufactured in Injah, wot? :D

I got ISSPRO EV gauges. They are nice, but do not exactly match the OEM gauges in my 97. I waited over a year to order gauges after I heard they were working on the EV series. I don't care for the Autometer or Diprocol gauges.

I really liked the VDO gauges in my Porsche, but I don't feel they have a good product line for the diesel market, 30lb boost gauges being one of the short comings.

I did read that ISSPRO is coming out with a 2nd generation of EV that include the red pointer and are a closer match to OEM Ram. Maybe give them a call and see?
