Which Wire?

Which wire do I need to connect the loose wire to for my brake controller? I think it's the labeled brake sense wire? I'm not sure. Thanks. I have a Jordan controller.

I don't think the Jordan uses the brake sense wire. That wire normally supplies voltage to the controller when the brake pedal is depressed. Most electronic controllers, like the Prodigy, use this wire. The Jordan uses a cable connected to the brake pedal to sense when and how much the pedal is depressed.

I do not have a Jordan but I was considering one and studied them a little but decided on the BrakeSmart. Looking at the picture of the Jordan, it appears to have only 3 wires to hook up. The blue one goes to the trailer brake, and I am pretty sure the red and white are 12V and ground.

Again, I am not an expert on the Jordan and maybe someone who has one will respond, but I think I am correct.

Here is some more info... http://www.bestbrakecontroller.com/install.html . The blue is for brakes, the red is 12V and white is ground. The brake sense wire from the truck wiring harness is not used.

Well that makes it simple. Thanks everyone! Now I can work that engine really good.
