now that ive got youre attention, i have got a 01 six speed 4wd that i am wishing had a automatic ( the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence! ) if anyone in a resonable distance aways from southern Maryland would like to trade trannys let me know. i know it would be alot of work but i have a three car garage with a 10k lift and all the tools we should need. i would even be willing to take a couple days off work and do it during a long weekend. i know some people will tell me to buy a truck with a auto but this one has just got a new vp44 and some other new parts that i would be losing out on . and the H. O. engine :D

How many miles would be too many? I have a 2000 4X4 Auto with 165K on a stock transmission, It's in good shape as of 155 K when I droped the pan and changed the fliud and filter. I live in Central CT. Moose00

I'd love to swap you transmission's but I know it won;t work... however I would like to see/help the swap take place! Plus, my transmission seems to be on the way out and I would like to look at going to a stick.
