Big Mudflaps and Inner Liners
I just got a set of #9SS duraflaps for the rear of my rig and right off the bat ran into a couple of problems. #1 is the lower twist bracket is bent for Ford and Chevy trucks where the lower fender strut bolts through vertically vice ours that goes horizontal with the mounting bolt.
Also, they don't sit flush with the inner fender as I have the fender liners. Dennis (duraflap guy) is being cool and working with me but I'm wondering if anyone else ran into those problems with this brand of flap and what you did to make them work? I think Dennis is looking at making a set that is "cut out" (not using mudflap material inside the well) but I'm wondering if that'll work with the lack of upper support given the length these things are.
