Hey Everyone...

I am buying a new set of wheels for my truck. I want to go with 10" wide Eagle Alloy 102's (Weld Stone Crusher Copy). I have a 2. 5" leveling kit and 315/75-16 PorComp Xterrains. Will I have any clearance problems on the fenders when turning lock to lock?

The 102's have 4. 5" backspacing so in the 10" wide model they will stick out a little less than 4" over the stock alloy wheel.

I do not do any serious four wheeling so extreme clearance is not needed.

I have already ordered them in 8" but would prefer the 10" so I have room to grow. :D I think I still have time to change my order... maybe.

Thanks... .

Jeff, I have a 3" body lift along with the D25's, it clears my 315 BFG's on 10" wheels with 4. 5" back spacing nicley. However, without the body lift I am quite sure your tire will contact the rear of the fender while turning. Good luck.

thanks Rob...

Now I am confused. The guys over at PavementSucks.com seem to think I will be just fine with the 10's.

Still not sure whether I have time to change my order or not. I will have to find out this morning.

Anyone else running 16x10's with 315's and 2. 5" front leveling kit?

Thanks...

Jeff,

I just measured the distance between the tire and fender at full lock, it's just shy of 2" at the rear of the front fender, and about 2" at the front of the front fender, with the 3" body-lift. This was on flat level ground, any articulation it will obviously be less.
