2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Will 2010 wheels fit my 1995?

Howdy All,



Looking at wheel upgrade and need to know if 2010 Ram 17" rims 8 lug on 6. 5" will fit my 1995 2500? Any issues ? I'm upgrading my whole rig and want newer 17" factory wheels to replace my 16. 5 steelys.



Any help is always appreciated from the TDR folk!

I believe they will. They are still the 6. 5 pattern.

Yep. If you look around, you'll see you're about the third person this month to ask that question, there are quite a few pics up on one of the threads of 2nd gens with 3rd gen wheels.

Thank you very much for the backup. I saw a 2gen parked on the freeway (rush hour) and it looked like 3 gen wheels. I'm goin shopping for a factory upgrade! Kind Regards.

The third gen Aluminum wheels are a bit thicker than the steel/chrome third gen wheels. The Aluminum wheels are a direct bolt on, the steel/chrome wheels will need a spacer or you need to die grind out the inside of the plastic hub cap so it won't interfere with the axle center on the rear. I have the steel/chrome wheels on my '95.

Yeah, I tried that, it looks ugly because the 2nd gen caps are narrower at the end and stick out more.
