Will a 2 or 3 piece exhaust manifold leak with exhaust brake?

My stock exhaust manifold apparently wanted to move some and snapped a bolt. I tow around 15K on some long 6% grades and usually see my EGT's on my uncalibrated guage hit 1500. Probably pulled this way 50 times, am I pushing this thing to hard? All stock except for EB.

Looking at a 2 or 3 piece manifold to replace the warped stock one. Have read the multi-piece manifolds will hiss with the EB engaged. Anyone had any luck using multi piece manifolds with EB's?

I have a 2 piece without any noticeable leaks.

Stock will run that hot.

The 05 aftermarket manifolds are usually 2 piece ( older -pre 03- trucks used a 3 piece ). I have a one piece AFE on mine. If it leaks using a brake there is a problem with the manifold. David

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to get a 2 piece BD and keep my foot buried in it on the grades:-laf
