Competition My New Turbo....

Competition Dyno Day in Michigan @ Livernois

I would have liked to show-n-shine but there wasn't enough time to prepare for it and the sled pull together I had to remove a lot stuff to go across scale several times to get into the 7500lb class tailgate, rear bumper, on the inside I removed the rear seat, center console and passeger seat ealier that week, so she really wasn't in show-n-shine form :(

regards,

BBD

This was the first time I had the opportunity to go to the pulls. I brought the fellas out and we had a great time. I was impressed with the event, but wished it would have lasted longer. It probably would have if guys like me woulda given it a shot! CSutton- I loved your truck. Very nice. BBD. The name says it all. I have followed your posts on the bombs you have done, and the truck is even cooler in person. I cant wait till next year. Im thinkin it may be the start of my rookie season. JGheen- We live in the same town. We oughta hook up and stare at trucks for a while..... What did you guys think of the F-650 in the exhibition class? Ryan

Sootscooter. .

I didn't think much of it... but it is the owners dream rig so good for him :) low on power and big on Bling [or at least his version]. . but it's at diesel so it's all good LOL

didn't see your rig and would like to have seen it. . maybe I have seen it at the Piers event last year and don't remember. . I love the first gens. body style.

Ryan,

You live in Santa Clarita? Where? I am up in Castaic. Sounds good on gettin' together for a bombing party or just a few beers and BS'n.

That F-650 Ford is impressive. I only like the fact that it runs a huge Cat engine, don't think a PowerJoke would be lovin life trying to move that 10,000+lbs truck around. That truck actually comes on my street once in a while as he is a friend of my neighbors. That Metal Mulisha group is all over this area. I am not very fond of them though as it is mostly a poser group wanna-be group :-laf

Did any of you guys see that crazy drivin' he was doing in that truck at the end of the event on the back stretch of that small concrete oval?? He must have some kind of rear "handle pull" e-brake on that thing that made the rear end spin around like that. I was surprised he didn't roll the truck doin' that insanity. But then again that thing is so bottom heavy with that running gear and those huge tires.

Why the poor sport? Admit the Duramax's and TTS came out and took the trophys, seems to me the ruled the track. You entered the contest bet you wouldn't be looking to go "mudding" if you won.

I'd imagine that there was more than one Duramax that would be willing to hand your A$$ to you on the asphalt and a hill climb, you should have asked instead of bringing it to the forum and whining. ;)

Better luck next year,we'll have time to tweak too!!

Mac :D :D :D

gosh for once I agree with mackin (can't believe it either). The duramaxes did awesome, and I guarantee you Trippin in the blue one would clean your clock in mud or hills anyday. His truck is an animal to say the least. I think part of Ghees problem were tires are way way too big. You're losing a ton of power with those over sized meats. Most if not all of the trucks with the super size me tires got spanked in the pull.

Great show, I hope next year has more participants.
