Anyone had experience with Winch Ready bumpers? Their website looks good as well as prices. They're made of steel, yet claim 70% weight reduction over competitors. Winch Ready
Their website is somewhat incomplete as far as photo galleries go. i don't know how long they've been around. I phoned a weight request to them, but haven't received anything yet.
My Trail Ready front bumper weighed in at 200 pounds without the winch, I don't see how the weight can be reduced 70% and still have the deer shreading ability that mine does. It may be gauranteed against breakage, but what about bending?
I just spoke to "Dixie"@ Winch Ready. They have the Pre-Runner bumpers in stock(receiver is extra),powder coated or Vortex coated for a limited time for $1395. They weigh approx. 165#. Stock holes for lights and two tabs for additional lighting included. They are a former Road Armor distributor and due to a number of factors have elected to fabricate their own product. She seems extremely forthright. One day crating and shipping currently. Her number is:530-221-2461. They are located in Redding,Ca. Give her a call if interested and verify anything I've stated. Winch Ready. I saw their ad in Four Wheel Drive mag. She advertises in Diesel Power also.
