Window vent

Hey guys and gals,

Yesterday I was playing around with alpha and turned on the window vent option (used to be global down) for my truck.

Still can't get it to work? Any ideas? I set the configuration to all windows still will not roll down windows with key fob.

Got it to work on my truck. With doors locked, double press the unlock but don't release on last press. Hold button down and they should both roll down. Now if I could get the up to work! Is nice to open windows when sun beating down to cool off before going somewhere. Hope that helps for you. Good luck!

did you also configure Vehicle Config 2: Window Express Feature? I seem to remember that needing to be set to front or all windows but could be wrong.

I didn't need to reset the RF hub on my 18 when I enabled it. It is a bit touchy to how fast you double push the unlock button. I've found if you do it too fast it won't do it.

Instead of messing with the dealer, you could use Chrysler Pin Puller from the Play Store. I've use it to pull pin from buddy's 300 and also my truck. Yes, it'll cost you $15 for the credits needed for truck, but sometimes that's cheaper than the ride and time to deal with dealer. Just an option for you and very helpful if you're a multiple Chrysler household!

Body Computer, MY2013-2017 PowerNet, Active Diagnostics, Car Configuration Change, select option

Type Wind in the search and you should should see
VehConfig 3: window express feature configuration and Doors Global Windows Down.

It may not work on a 12. I can't remember if I got it to work on my 06 which uses the same module. I would check the AlfaOBD thread on ramforum. There should be something about it there. I also think there may be a 06-12 specific AlfaOBD thread on this forum.

Guess I'll go and play to see if PIN #'s match. Updates sure are nice! Makes Alfa a much better tool as things go along.
