So I was driving up north and went to use the wipers and nothing happened except for when I turned them on HI and they acted like they were on super slow motion. They did this for a bit then got stuck. So I finished my trip with no wipers at all. I got up north and the next day I went into town and bought a new motor for the wipers. That did not solve the problem. Later that week I ordered a new wiper switch figuring maybe my switch went bad. Finally got around to installing that today and I still have the exact same problem. Now Im frustrated. What else is there? I dont think there are any relays? If so where? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Mine went haywire twice, never knew what they would do or not do when you turned them on, diagnosed as multi function switch by dealer, first time didn't take, second time has lasted over a year. Do a search on "multi function switch" and "central timer module" for soem more info. bg

During the last 100k miles, I've had 4 wiper switches replaced under warranty to try to fix a problem where the intermittent function would go haywire. This last time, the dealer did a great diagnosis and found that there is a module that controls the motor signals (not the FCM) and my wipers have finally been fixed. The part number is 23067086.

The wiper switch is pretty easy to replace, (about a 10 minute job) but pricey.

I wonder if you have a problem with the motor itself?

Took the truck to the dealer and they determined that the "intigrated power module" went bad. Of course no one has it in stock so I have to wait until tomorrow to get the part and to top it off its about $700. 00. I hope it works.

The reason its not in stock, is because its a star part... . one that requires the tech to talk to Chrysler and get approval for replacement before shipment... this is to prevent dealers from short circuiting the testing process and just throwing parts at the problem until its fixed and than putting all the parts on the warranty claim form or customer pay ticket... .

In a way this protects us...

The factories are talking about coding these boxes with the VIN # of the vehicle so that you can't pull one from one truck and move it to another... . prevent theft so to speak but I really think its to prevent us from going to the wrecking yard and buying a good used one for 50% off... or someone down the road doing repair on these and offering them back at 50% of the list price... .

Installed the intigrated power module today and everything is back to normal. Thanks again for all the suggestions.
