Wix Filters...

Opinions?



I did my first Fuel Filter change Ever in my life... Took me longer to use the search feature on the site to find how to do it than actually doing it. (Not counting the trip to pay $8. 50 for a 1 1/8 socket at OSH)



So I popped in a Wix Fuel Filter and bought a Wix oil filter...



It's not a FRAM but it's not a MOPAR... should I take it back?



switching to Red Line Synthetic this weekend... $$$

Is warranty a concern?

Is it worth the risk to use a non-approved filter is you are in warranty?

We use Wix filters all the time on equipment easily costing 4-5x what these trucks cost, never had a problem with them.



If I were in a bind for a filter I wouldn't have a problem putting a Wix on my truck.



If you are in warranty and worried about it, buy the fleetguard and be done with it.
