Ok, as far as my cold starting problem went, it hasn't been getting cold enough to be a problem, at least for now. I know Pastor Bob was interested.
Now I worry about my injection pump. It still smokes pretty bad at loaded idle ( auto transmission) and I was wondering if it could be a worn camring? This is the origional pump that came on the engine, it has 213,000 miles on it. Every time I get on the highway at WOT, I'm worried about it just finally giving up and joining it's failed brothers in diesel pump heaven. Should I be worried? I was thinking of upgrades I want to do to my engine. New turbo and smaller housing, better injectors. But if I did this, I'd want to turn up my pump. With it's age and it being a smoker, should I worry about it giving out on me? Just being paranoid I guess!
