Stanadynes fuel/water separator

They must be using a correction factor for naturally aspirated engines ,I am not sure but I belive it is differrent for turbo because at sea level or 29. 92 ' of mercury and 60 f we all are at 14. 7 psi or 1 bar. As you go up you loose a couple of p. s. i. for every 1000 feet or so. Hence the turbo you just add them write back. I read about this a while ago and will look up the exact numbers. But basically if you go up 5000 feet in elevation and loose 5 psi of atmosphere, all you have to do is add 5 psi boost and you are back to the same h. p. So in theory if our trucks were the same and I was at sea level running 50 psi and you were at 5000' and running 55 psi we would be making the same power and doing the same 1/4 mile etc...

yeah i plan on doing that once bandimere opens what are the times that a 600 hp truck should have and keep in mind when i run it all i'm doing is taking off the spare i'm leaving the grill guard and all that other stuff on it because i wanna know what it's gonna do on an average day. Drive it there of course trailering is pathetic in my book. Tow it to a spot to drive it that's ridiculous. I'll drive it on whatever fuel i have in the tank when i arrive

i don't have a clue about all that i just know that the numbers on 2 different dyno's were very similar that's good enough for me. If i make it to vegas this year i'll do one there and see how it is.

that's the best i can do though

I am sure they are right but all I was getting at is the observed number is the one to go by when dealing with turbocharged engines.

BCarmicle, what are you getting in a 1/4 mile?

I ran a 13. 51 on a single charger leaving the line at about 10lbs. of boost and running the 35" tires.

I have had very limited time to race with the twins. When weather warms back up I am going to do some testing with twins and try the stock tires and wheels.

Hoping the be at least in the high 12s.

that is a good time that's what i'm shooting for middle 13's and hopefully ending up in the high twelves eventually but i don't know if i can get there with this elevation here

sure man where u at today i'm gonna be taking off here in a bit i can hook up with you if you want and let u check it out and if not then whenever man i'm readily available to look at and talk trucks. Seems like my whole day revolves around it anyway..... i might see if i can't get on the pfi dyno today actually since my last run was with the stock fuel system i figured now that i have the fass back in there it might be a bit more impressive maybe the 600 club

hook up
