Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Yet another L.P.????

My lift pump will be 8 weeks old on Monday. Got spanked for over $500 for the last install. Here is what it is doing: idle=8. 2 psi, wot=10-11psi cruise@ 40 mph =11 psi let off peddle spikes to 13 psi then drops to 8. 2 psi. Do you think this one is going south ? or is it something else ?

Pre or Post filter measurment? Pump location?

Sounds like a Pre-filter measurement. I've never heard of the preasure increasing under load, except for a clogged filter situation.

put two gauges on when I saw the psi drop the first time. One is pre the other is post filter. pump location is stock. This condition only happens now and then. Itwill not do it all the time, it's crazy... ... ...

I just put a fass system in. went thrue 3 lift pumps and 1 lp in under 40k on truck. when you get tired of messing around with dcs failed fuel system come to the dark side you wont be sorry.
