Anyone know if 2025 CC 5500 will be any different than 2024
A lot. That ZF trans sounds like an incredibly complicated design...wonder what it costs for a rebuild. If there are even any techs who can work on it. Scaring me. I am simple I guess.

A lot.
That new Hurricane engine doesn't have a dipstick either. All on the EVIC. Just another sensor to die or give bad readings.
i remember those turd bucket zf manual trans ford trucks used years ago
I'd like to see RAM have an automatic (part-time) 4x4 option like in the 1500.
I loved it this past winter in my EcoD, versus going in and out of full-time 4x4 in my work truck.
Does any current heavy duty (GM/Ford) have this in their heavy duty line yet?
For clarification, auto 4wd is "full time" and fully locking it in 4wd is part time.
On top of that, auto-4wd and full time 4wd are not the same thing. auto-4wd is just automatically engaging/disengaging part-time 4wd as needed. True full time 4wd is all wheel drive, and can ran on hard surfaces. This is why I am not a fan of it, my 0.02
I don't believe any HD transfer case has the auto-4wd option.
I'd really love to have a HD transfer case with true part time and full time 4wd options.

"Wonder what’s taking Ram so long with 2025 details thou…."
I would guess they have a large inventory to sell. When the '25 info comes out the '24's might be a hard sell. Especially in the 2500's. I think they will get a larger update over the 3500's.
