Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What's my rig worth

A guy at work has been trying to get me to sell my truck to him. I've been thinking about it, mainly because I'd like to back to a manual transmission. Mainly because I tow with the truck fairly often (Big round bales, horses, gravity wagons etc), and know I'll need a stronger transmission if I keep it. For the basics, look at my signature. I put new front tires on it about 5000 miles ago, and the backs are still in real good shape. The bed and tailgate has some dents and dings in it. The drivers front fender has some rust in the lower corner, and the back of the cab has a little rust on both sides. I kinda hate to get rid of my DMI, but he REALLY wants it (purely for looks, he doesn't pull a damn thing) Anyways, what would be a good asking price. Truck has 151500 miles on it, and I've maintained it pretty good. I've used it as a truck, but haven't abused it. Thanks in advance for the opinions

cant be accurate about it without pics and specific details and it mostly depends on how bad the buyer really wants it but 10-15k is the range.

If you have a 53 block, which are in the 01's it ain't worth nothing but a dump truck. Don't take my comment to heart. Just a thought

Look it up on Kelley Blue Book or NADA and adjust for dents and rust.
