just bought a smarty, i got it in the mail today and put it on my truck. i put it on level 3 and its awesome. The truck seems to run alot better than it did with the bully dog box...

My ? is what level can i run it on with whats done in my sig? and what level is like the everyday driver setting but still able to pass people on the freeway?

Go to the website, madselectronics.com and check the FAQ and also you can download stuff specifically for your truck's setup. They have bone stock, stock turbo and upgraded injectors, upgraded turbo/stock injectors, full upgrade, etc. As long as you have a good stout transmission, you should be able to handle SW5. You can also choose your torque management settings (stock, mild, moderate and wild).

BTW, you'll need to load the download program onto a PC/laptop and it takes a USB cable to do that. If you're like me, you just borrow the one off the printer.

Ive driven everyday with it on #9. Maybe try aftermarket turbo/stock injector programs. I think theyre supposed to have boost fooling, but I know ZERO about the edge BB turbos.

Yes, the Smarty does boost fooling by changing the values in the table in the ECM, or something along those lines. Basically, as I understand it, the sensors tell the ECM what level the boost is, which would normally trigger defueling. With the Smarty, as I understand, the ECM gets the boost level from the sensors, but the boost table is modified to tell it to trigger the defueling at a higher boost.

Im guessing an aftermarket turbo is needed for it to really make a difference? I loaded up aftermarket turbo/stock injectors program, expecting to see more than 30psi, but it still maxed at 30, maybe a little below...

Maybe the FAQ on madselectronics.com will explain it.

PM Bob Wagner and he can answer your questions.

From what I experienced with the aftermarket turbo SW it will build a lot of boost. The wild programs are also like that, they will disable the WG.

I had a Sledpuller 66 on my truck for a while. On level 5 I could see about 38psi. On level 7 I saw 45+, it will depend on how much fuel you are throwing at it.

With the stock turbo I run the stock turbo sw, as I don't want too much over the 30psi.

You are asking a loaded ? , I do not know what program the latest Smarty's are being shipped with?

You have a choice of stock TQ, mild TQ, moderate TQ, wild TQ, within those programs you have 0 to 9 sw#.

Besides that, you have After Market Turbo/Injectors, AMT,AMI,AMTI.
